It all started when Food and Dining founder and publisher John Carlos White asked me to shoot for a magazine he was starting, called Louisville Food and Dining.

I did a few shoots for him in the beginning, and then Dan Dry took it over from there, and it’s a beautiful publication.

I went on to begin shooting dining reviews for the LEO Weekly, and then Dan Weldy came along with Prep Magazine.

I went on to shoot for Prep, covering the independent restaurant scene in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Northern Tennessee until it was sold to the Lane Report.

Today I shoot food for the Courier-Journal and UberEATS restaurants through SmartShoot.
